There are many things I love about my job. The creativity, the people, the outdoors…and the travel! I’ve been so fortunate this year to have been blessed with destination weddings! This time, it was a beautiful southern wedding in Atlanta, GA. Now, it was actually explained to me that Atlanta is the gateway to the south and not the actual “south.” However, to a Pacific North Westerner like myself, that’s pretty dang SOUTH!! Not only did I get to see a little bit of Georgia, but I did so with a very good friend of mine, Sarah Bezila, with whom I was fortunate enough to shoot this incredible event!
The couple: Nick and Amanda. I’m not sure I’ve ever met a more laid back bride! I think she asked her photographers 3-4 times if she could get US anything. Haha! I meet a lot of couples as a wedding photographer. When I met Nick and Amanda, I immediately felt the love and passion they share for one another. I don’t think either of them stop smiling while in each others presence. It’s truly a beautiful thing.
The venue: Flint Hill in Norcross, GA. It was stunning; a mansion built in 1835 that is now used as an event center.
Okay, I’m sure you’ll forgive me for this eventually, but warning you now…there are SO MANY photos here! I just couldn’t whittle these down any further. I had a hard enough time culling this blog post down to the images shown here! So please enjoy (and hopefully y’all have DSL and not dial-up
Like how I threw that suthun’ y’all in there?)
